I was able to see Noah and his brother perform at camp...(I was one of the staff members and I'm Type I). What a fantastic show and the kids were so excited about it...You guys helped the kids see that they can be "normal"...as normal as we diabetics can be, right? A truly amazing show. I would challenge the poster to investigate a little about the roots of the project before judging if it "does more harm than good" or if I "should think through the message a bit more." The manifesto that is worked into and passed out after all of our shows (the ones we do professionally, for non-diabetic audiences) mentions nothing about diabetes, nor does the mission statement for the tour. Judging something without investigation is what does more harm than good. Diabetes is a part of my life, but the messages it teaches can found and applied in every walk of life...this is the message. This is not a negative post, but I sincerely hope that if someone takes time to judge, they also do some research. Of course, it's inspiring to the ones with the condition, but what message he's sending is something he should think through a bit more, it seems to me.
