Last year I was in a focus group held by Medingo for the patch you&#039;re talking about. I thought it was the most exciting thing I&#039;d seen since the Omnipod, which is still bigger than I want to wear.

The patch they showed us looked very much like the patch you feature on the nanopump article: that size, that slim. The patch was two pieces that fit together, one holds the insulin, the other the pump device.

The prototype was made in hard plastic, but the real thing they said would of course be made in a flexible, pliable material to fit any body part and any curve. I&#039;m glad to see you reporting on it as I know now it&#039;s really happening.
