Good Valentine’s, No Sugar
Happy Valentine’s Day, Dears.
(photo courtesy of the Diabetes Made Visible folks on Flickr. Love you all!)
Especially for us PWDs, a few V-day treats without the actual glucose:
* Sharing. This week’s edition of Grand Rounds, the medical blogging roundup, features a “Give Me Some Sugar” theme. No actual consumption involved. Oh, except for Kim over at EmergiBlog. (If it weren’t Love Day, I might be tempted to ring those chocolate-stained necks)
* Empathy. Diabetes is hard work. So sometimes we just don’t do it. The newest edition of Straight Up with Amy over at dLife.com spotlights those stumbling blocks, yet again.
* Love and Diabetes. Read Terry B’s touching sentiments on what it means to be a partner of a PWD.
* Or Go for the Sex. No carbs, no calories. And good sex means good health. Enjoy!
