The editor of DiabetesNotes.com contacted me recently, looking for a new blogger with “experience, expertise, and/or passion to blog about diabetes.” Very flattering, of course, but any drop of those qualities I’ve got, I’m putting into DiabetesMine right now
Meanwhile, looks like they’ve signed up someone truly captivating: the young, hip, Renaissance-man-type Rob Rummel-Hudson. He’s an accomplished writer, and both print and photo blogger at Darn Tootin’. His quirky sense of humor includes bio statements the likes of:
“
Following in his father’s footsteps, Rob was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes in February (yup, just 2 months ago). As DailyDiabetic remarks, “Ever undaunted, Rob faces this news like he does most difficult things: with courage, honesty, and humor.” Read the full interview with Rob today at DailyDiabetic.
Rob will start posting on DiabetesNotes in May. Looking forward to hearing what this highly original new D-brother has to say!

I was disappointed you couldn’t join us, Amy, but that brought us Rob so hopefully there will be even more D-blogging goodness to come. Thanks for all your help!
Wonderful article! Thank you so much for the mention, and for all the wonderful work you put into this site!
I’m a new reader of your blog and would like to say how glad I am that I found you! Great reading and much encouragement! I seem to expend sooo much energy trying to explain diabetes and its funny how I thought I was alone in this d-world!! Please keep doing what you are doing—-and I’ll keep reading and connecting!
Thanks again.
Thank you! This is going to be fun.
