I get a surprising number of hits here from people searching the Web for “diabetes T-shirts.” I suppose if I were more enterprising, I’d sell them myself. Nah. My experience with retail is limited to the receiving end
So instead I’m sharing a tip on two highly stylish looks that benefit the D-cause:
* For the active types, consider a cool cycling jersey from Team Type1, those incredible cyclists peddlin
g to raise $1,000,000 for JDRF with their “Race Across America.” Organizers Phil Southerland and Joe Eldridge are energetic “juvenile diabetics” who met a few years ago as college students over their mutual love of competitive cycling. They are now working to establish Team Type1 as a full-fledged non-profit organization with a Board of Directors and a formula to fund those in need.
* New York-based Gina Capone of DiabetesTalkFest has a new style, to help fight the NY diabetes epidemic. Check out the “Save New York: Cure Diabetes” product line. 100% of the profit from these items will be donated to the Diabetes Research Institute in the interest of finding a cure.
Note that the DiabetesTalkFest online store has the most extensive collection of D-shirts around. Thanks both!

Sorry everyone the web server has encountered server side problems and the store seems to be down, hopefully it will be up again shortly…Keep checking
Is there a link to a store wehre I can buy one of the cycling shirts?
Hi Jay,
Looks like you have to email them at teamtype1@gmail.com. Thanks.
