I wanted to mention that we finally caught the dLife show this past Sunday afternoon (usually a challenging time for us to get in front of the TV). It wasn’t half bad! I was pretty down on the premiere, I admit, but this episode was more lively and interesting by far.
They talked openly about sex (which will liven up any show!), and emphasized the importance of partner communication when it comes to diabetic “issues” in the bedroom. We liked their approach. We had a good laugh, too, when Jim Turner said he can easily measure whether his BG is too high or too low by thinking about sex: if he’s high, he can at least think about it; if he’s low, it’s NOTHING DOING.
They also featured a luscious-looking recipe for seared scallops with miso and edamame sauce. And my husband thought Nicole Johnson Baker was “hot.” Hmmph… I guess there was something for everybody, after all!

Damn! The only episode I’ve missed was on SEX!
Remind your husband that “Miss America” is a “scholarship pageant”, not a “beauty pageant”. Whether she’s “hot” or not is supposed to be irrelevent. (On a side note, I never saw a Miss America contestant look like Rosanne Barr, go figure).
Hi sorry I missed the show, I’ve noted that sense I’ve been taking Byetta just a week I seem to have much more sex drive than I had before? I still haven’t told my wife waiting for the right time, she works 12 hr shifts and very tired when she gets home.
I’m new to this Diabetic stuff and took a class on it, but the Byetta has made me a little more frisky than normal. Is this ok??
I like it. Please let me know something.
Thank you
